Know someone whose new website has been almost ready for a year?
Everyone does. It is the most common story in this business, and it almost never starts with a bad designer.
It happens because of delay. You get the home page, you sit on it for two weeks because you are running a business, you send notes, you wait. A year later the old site is still up, still doing the talking for you. A six week website project is not six weeks of building. It is six weeks of waiting.
Time is money, and a website you cannot send anyone to is not making you any. So we build the whole thing in one day.

How the handoff works
The site is yours, logins and all.
The version of this that goes wrong is a site you cannot log into, on an account that is not in your name. Your Design Day ends the opposite way. You own the account, you hold the logins, and you get shown how to use them.
Whose account is it?
Yours. The subscription and the domain are in your name, on your card, from the start. We never ask for your password. You add our email as a user, and you can remove it the day after launch.
Who can change the site?
You, and anyone you give access to. Your custom PDF guide shows you how to change words and swap photos, plus add a product if you are on Shopify, so a price change never has to become an email to us.
What happens at 2:00?
Your site goes live. You get your custom PDF guide with it and 14 days to ask us anything about running it. Design changes after your day are quoted on their own, which is what keeps this a one day project instead of a three month one.

The process
Here's how a Design Day goes down.
The revision window is noon to 2:00 on purpose. You look at your site over lunch and tell us what to change while we are still sitting there, instead of sending notes at nine at night and waiting for tomorrow.
You book
- Fill out the form
- Agree to the terms
- Pay in full or start the plan
- Your day is booked at checkout
You prep
- Welcome email within the hour
- Project folder within a business day
- What each page needs to do, who you sell to, what you want people to feel
- Photos, logins and anything you already have written
The prep call
- Monday of your Design Day week, 12:30, 1:00 or 1:30 pm
- A strict thirty minutes
- Your page list and direction get locked, not left to the day
- Everything in your folder due 11:59 pm the night before

- 6:00 am to 2:00 pm Central, whichever day you booked
- Our team builds your site
- Reachable all day, present noon to 2:00
- Live revisions happen while you watch

How the work gets made
No templates. No outsourcing.
We do not buy a layout and drop your logo into it. Your pages are built for your business, section by section, and nobody you have not met touches your project.

Where AI comes in, and where it does not
We use Claude to help you write your copy. Not to invent it. You are the expert on your business and we are not, so the words start with your answers and your language. Our job is to shape them so your site positions you as the expert you already are.
It does not design or build your site. Your layout, your pages and your structure are designed and built by a human: the person you are on the call with.

We own Brookey Design Co., and we lead the team that will be working on your Design Day.
Your time is money, and it also matters that the work is done well, not just done fast. Those two usually get sold to you as a trade. Our whole process exists because they are not one.
Six years in business and more than 50 brand builds later, we have honed in on a system to deliver excellence efficiently.
A Design Day Website is for you if
- You already have a brand you like: logo, colors, fonts
- Your site is six pages or fewer, or your store is 12 products or fewer, with up to 10 sizes or colors each
- You can have your copy notes, photos and logins in by the night before
- You can be at your desk noon to 2:00 on your day
- You would rather have one intense day than a slow quarter

Frequently asked questions
Before you book.
Why 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, and do I have to be there all day?
Your revision window lands on your lunch break instead of the end of your day. We start early and build while you run your business. You need to be reachable, but only present at the screen from noon to 2:00.
What counts as a page?
Home, About, Services, Contact, that kind of thing. A long scrolling page is one page, however many sections it has.
What if I need more than six pages, or more than 12 products?
Then this is not the right product and we will not pretend it is. Tell us what you actually need and we will quote a custom build. Custom projects start at $8,000.
Who writes the copy?
We do, from your answers. You are the expert on your business, so the words start with your language, and you read them in the noon to 2:00 window and tell us what to change.
What if my content is late?
Your day moves. That is not a penalty, it is the whole method. The day only works because everything was in before it started.
What about the subscription and the domain?
Both stay in your name and are billed to you by Squarespace, Shopify or your registrar. Before your day we tell you exactly which plan you need to be on, so nothing holds up your day.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. Four monthly payments of $1,050, the first at booking. Or $4,000 in full.
What if I book and change my mind?
Booking takes your date off our calendar, so the fee is non-refundable. You get one free reschedule with at least seven days notice. A second move, or any move inside seven days, is $500. We also keep three business days after you book to decline the project ourselves, and if we do, you get every dollar back.
I do not have a brand yet.
Then start with the Design Day Combo. Thursday is your brand, Friday is the website it lives on, $7,000 instead of $8,000, and your site gets built on a brand that is one day old.
How far ahead do I need to book?
Two to three weeks is typical, mostly so you have time to finish your folder without rushing it. If you are working to a deadline, say so and we will count backwards from it.

Take the Combo instead.
